Sue has a wealth of experience and expertise in nutrition and dietetics, from over 30 years of working within the NHS. She still works part time for the NHS in Bedfordshire, and has been recognised for her specialist work in CFS/ME, diabetes and weight management. She is also experienced in dealing with irritable bowel syndrome, food allergy and intolerance; as well as for leading group work and delivering training courses.


Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME

In the last 10 years, Sue has become a leading expert on nutrition and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME, including writing evidence-based information on the subject for the British Dietetic Association website.  She has produced many articles on diet and CFS/ME, including a chapter in the book “Food Hypersensitivity”, for medical and health professionals, (pub. Blackwell Synergy, 2009). She has also run national training sessions for health professionals.

Sue is the Dietetic Rep on the Executive Council for the British Association of CFS/ME (BACME). She regularly works with leading ME charities. Sue acts as the Dietetic Advisor for the Association of Young People with ME, (AYME), has also lead diet workshops for Action for ME (AfME), and over the last 5 years, has taken part on the annual ME Association's expert "Question Time Panel". Sue gave a presentation to the Primary Health Conference at the Birmingham NEC in May 2014 on Diet and CFS, and regularly is invited to speak at venues across the UK.
